Current performance

In March, the PF generated a return on investments of 1.68%. The accumulated result from January to March 2024 thus amounts to 3.51%.

Approval of annual accounts

The Board of Trustees has approved the 2023 annual financial statements of the PF and the SIP. The PF posted an overall return of 6.68%. The coverage ratio rose to 117.0% (previous year 110.8%).

Appointment of auditor

KPMG was confirmed as auditor for financial year 2024.

Appointment of expert

The present expert, Dr. Olivier Kern of Pittet Associates AG, was reappointed for financial year 2024.

Reminder: SIP / Addition of a further tax-optimised pension fund: Swisscanto (CH) IPF III Vorsorge Fonds 45 Passiv

The new “Swisscanto (CH) IPF III Vorsorge Fonds 45 Passiv” (hereinafter “Fund 45 – new”) has been available alongside the previous “Swisscanto (CH) Vorsorge Fonds 45 Passiv” (hereinafter “Fund 45 – old”) since the beginning of March. The new fund is fully exempt from withholding tax on dividends in the USA and Japan, resulting in higher returns. We have asked all members invested in “Fund 45 – old” to switch to “Fund 45 – new” or to one of the other investment strategies by 31 May 2024. “Fund 45 – new” is of course also available to all other members. Members who are still invested in “Fund 45 – old” on this date will be automatically switched to the default strategy “Swisscanto (CH) Money Market Fund Opportunities CHF”.
