Current performance

In October, the PF generated a return on investments of 2.35%. The accumulated result from January to October 2022 thus amounts to -10.38%.

Threshold amounts 2023

The threshold amounts will change as of 1 January 2023. The new maximum coordination deduction amounts to CHF 25,725 (previously CHF 25,095). In early January 2023, we will make the factsheet with the figures valid as of 1 January 2023 available on our website.

2023 interest rates / pension adjustments

For the year 2023, the Federal Council’s BVG minimum interest rate on 2nd pillar savings capital remains unchanged at 1.00%. The Board of Trustees has also decided on a 1.00% interest rate on savings capital in the PF for 2023. The PF’s projected interest rate will likewise remain at 1.00%.

Pensions will not be raised as of 1 January 2023.

The next meetings of the Board of Trustees will take place on 14 April 2023.
